By Grade 6, students should be familiar with almost all scales and arpeggios learnt in the last four grades, only new scales will be featured here. Also by this grade, students are required to play both harmonic and melodic minor scales instead of choosing between both. For those who have been choosing harmonic minor scales all along, you would have to take some time to learn and get familiar with melodic minor scales.
